of a Down, Evanescence, No Doubt, Lacuna
Coil, The Eagles, The Doors, U2 (I met
Bono and the Edge with Ana!), Peter
Gabriel, Aerosmith, Siouxsie & The
Banshees, The Cure, Bauhaus, Metallica,
INXS, Godsmack, Tori Amos, The Bravery,
Green Day, Offspring, Disturbed, Pink,
Lenny Kravitz, Linkin Park, Velvet Revolver,
Madonna, Sarah McLachlan, Elton John,
Billy Joel, I know I'm forgetting a
lot... I love most classic rock, and
a lot of the modern stuff too. I like
80's music but I tend to like mostly
songs but not the artists necessarily.
Although, I guess The Cure would be
80's, Madonna, INXS and Prince too...
I guess I just love anything 80's! I
am also exploring the realms of industrial
and dance rock. I adore original gothic
music.
Favorite
Movies:
I
am very difficult to please in the horror
genre. Some of my favorites include
the original Nosferatu, most Bela Lugosi
and Boris Karloff films, The Shining,
the brilliant and thrilling works of
Alfred Hitchcock, Tod Browning's Freaks
and Dracula, Frankenstein, Saw.
I love all things Tim Burton has touched!
Well, except Planet of the Apes. 50
First Dates, Michael, The Wedding Singer,
Love Actually, The X-Men movies, The
Harry Potter series.
I like movies of all types but for them
to last in my memory they must touch
me personally in a unique way. Like
Finding Nemo! Everyone knows that I'm
Dori! And I CAN speak whale!
Favorite
Books:
The
Harry Potter series! I'm an Anne Rice
junkie, her horror and erotica are created
equal. Worth noting are the Vampire
Chronicles, chronicles of the Mayfair
Witches, Exit to Eden, Belinda and the
Sleeping Beauty series. I also adore
every book Dean Koontz ever wrote, and
I find his poetry to be even more arresting
than his fiction at times.
I enjoy Dan Brown, some Nora Roberts,
Francesca Lia Block, Charles De Lint,
and of the classics I like works by
Steinbeck, Dickens, and Poe the best.
I enjoy V.C. Andrews from time to time,
and of course, horror classics like
Dracula and Frankenstein.
Favorite
TV:
Nip/Tuck,
Lost, Family Guy
I'm into anything freaky and weird,
and Criss Angel is as weird as they
come.
I swear he is not of this earth.
Heroes:
Gerald
Gardner, FDR, William Wallace, Leonardo
Da Vinci.
If we're talking superheroes, they would
be: The X-Men.
I would call these people role models,
to an extent: I LOVE DITA! She's bringing
sexy (and burlesque!) back! Bettie Page
made bondage and fetish clothing mainstream
in a tasteful manner, while still maintaining
charming innocence. Charlize Theron
is, in my opinion, the most gorgeous
woman in Hollywood and Gwen Stefani
is just HOT.
